1. Labor Fees and Apple Warranties
If my device is out-of-warranty, or deemed to be out-of warranty after further inspection by Virtua Consulting Group Inc. DBA Gravity or Apple, I agree to pay a $149 (Macs), $40 (iOS), or $30 (accessories) labor charge per item. "No Trouble Found" Diagnostics, as well as repair refusal/cancellation are also subject to this charge at pickup. The diagnostic charge covers the first hour of any labor towards any repair. I also understand warranty does not cover diagnostics, hardware cost or labor cost for any physical damage, software repairs, the recovery of data, nor data transfers as per Apple's End User License Agreement. This fee is non-refundable. This fee is taken up front for out of warranty repairs.
2. Customer Data
I understand I am responsible for backing up my data; Virtua Consulting Group, Inc. DBA Gravity nor Apple Inc. is not responsible for the loss of any data while my device is being serviced. I also understand the management of my licensed software is my responsibility and will possibly need to be reactivated after a data transfer. Backup services performed by Gravity are not guaranteed and data loss may still occur despite the state the device is in. The device may need to be erased while being worked on in store, and if the device needs to be mailed in to Apple, they will erase the device before sending it back to us.
3. Abandonment and Other Policies
I authorize my contact information and diagnostics report be shared with Apple Inc. Any device left over 90 days from notification of completion, or from last contact from customer, whichever is sooner becomes the property of Gravity. Rush fees do not guarantee any set in stone turnaround time, they just guarantee that your computer is the next device in line for repair. Payment Terms for repairs are Net7. This means that all balances are due within 7 days of repair completion. Payments not made by due date may be subject to a late fee. Virtua Consulting Group Inc. DBA Gravity is not liable for damage to 3rd party parts or to damages caused to other parts/devices by the 3rd party part.
4. Customer Possession Exemptions
Apple requires us to hold onto the devices after the repair has been created until the end of the repair process.

6. Find My
Please ensure you have turned Find My iPhone/Mac off before bringing in your device for repair. If Apple's "Stolen Device Protection" feature has been enabled, it may take about one (1) hour to turn off Find My iPhone/Mac, and appointments may need rescheduled.
