Terms and Conditions

1) Labor fees and Apple Warranties: If my device is out-of-warranty or deemed to be out-of-warranty after further inspection by Virtua Consulting Group Inc., d.b.a Gravity, or Apple, I agree to pay a $149(Macs), $40 (iOS) or $30 (accessories) labor charge per item. "No Trouble Found" Diagnostics are also subject to this charge at pickup. The $149 diagnostic charge covers the first hour of any labor toward any repair. I also understand that the warranty does not cover diagnostics, hardware costs, or labor costs for any physical damage, software repairs, the recovery of data, or data transfers as per Apple's End User License Agreement. This fee is non-refundable. This fee is taken up front for out-of-warranty repairs.

2) Customer data: I understand I am responsible for backing up my data; Virtua Consulting Group Inc., d.b.a Gravity, and Apple Inc. are not responsible for the loss of any data while my device is being serviced. I also understand that managing my licensed software is my responsibility and may need to be reactivated after a data transfer. Backup services Gravity performs are not guaranteed, and data loss may still occur despite the device's state. The device may need to be erased while being worked on in-store, and if the device needs to be mailed to Apple, they will erase the device before sending it back to us.

3) Abandonment and other policies: I authorize my contact information and diagnostics report to be shared with Apple Inc. Any device left over 90 days from notification of completion becomes the property of Virtua Consulting Group Inc., d.b.a Gravity. Rush fees do not guarantee any set in stone turnaround time, they just guarantee that your computer is the next device in line for repair. Payment Terms for repairs are Net30. This means that all balances are due within 30 days of repair completion. Payments not made by the due date may be subject to a late fee.

4) Find My: Please ensure you have turned Find My iPhone/Mac off before bringing in your device for repair. If Apple's "Stolen Device Protection" feature has been enabled, it may take about one (1) hour to turn off Find My iPhone/Mac, and appointments may need rescheduled.
